Baking apples and fresh peaches at the Forte Farm stand. Dave and his brothers were so kind to sell me both, and Dave kept me awake with his “colorful” jokes at 7:45 am.

A bevy of green beans at Full Circle Farms:

Next week is Market Week over at EatMakeRead. I’m making a special trip to the Boulder Farmer’s Market for the occasion!

God I envy you. I adore food and eating and trying new and different dishes. Unfortunately, I hate to cook and have 2 children who eat like shit and think McDonald’s is gourmet. Ah, but that is probably my fault, because like I said, cooking and me don’t get along.
If I pay you enough, will you be my personal chef? The kids will still eat like crap, but at least I will be well fed!
Great blog! Just found it today!

I love the colors of farmer’s market produce. It’s so much better than what you see at the grocery. I so appreciate my local market and local farms that supply our food so I never have to visit the depressing grocery store.

Lovely blog! I was searching for farmers’ market images to use in promotional material for ours–we’re gearing up for our first season, so we don’t have any yet–and the top photo in this entry really caught my eye. Would you allow us to use it? Just love the colors…
